Back in August of 1977 on a beautifully clear day, my family, while on our annual visit to New York, made the trek to lower Manhattan to visit the relatively new World Trade Center twin towers. These are some of the images from that visit. With the destruction of these magnificent towers by Muslim lunatics on September 11, 2001, these pictures take on new meaning for me.
